Video FAQ

Q: Why can't I download the videos to my computer anymore?

A: Offering direct downloads has gotten me in trouble in the past, so I'm not going to tempt fate again anytime soon. Downloads of most of the musicals are available via Megaupload at SailorMoonFansubs.com

Q: Can you please upload [insert musical here]?

A: If it's commercially available on DVD I'm not going to upload it, unless it's been fansubbed. Anything else not listed here I'm working on getting up.

Q: Can you send me these videos on a DVD?

A: I currently do not have a Myu distro service. You can buy fansubbed DVDs from Cruel Angel Productions.

Q: If you want us to buy the DVDs then why are you letting us download them all?

A: For the same reason I ripped every one of my SeraMyu CDs and let you download those. People will litter every community out there with requests for songs, musicals, pictures and more...and what does it always get them? A temporary sendspace or megaupload link that'll expire in a month and leave the process open to start all over again. Frustrated fans and broken links is no way to get someone into a fandom. At this point, most potential Myu fans aren't interested enough to go through the trouble of figuring out how to actually get a $60 Japanese DVD of something they've never seen before. I would rather offer free previews in order to easily show new fans how amazing Myu is, in hopes they'll become just as obsessed as I am ;) (and yes, I consider these mediocre internet downloads 'previews' of the beauty of the actual products). As we all know, the majority of the people who actually buy the products anyway are the most dedicated fans among us, and dedicated fans will collect everything they can no matter how freely available it is on the internet :)
